Rockford picks up first win of the season, defeating Muskegon

Rockford's Chad Carlson scored 21 points as the Rams took
an early advantage and didn't let up.
Rockford (1-2) led 13-11 after the first quarter, extending
its lead to 28-19 at halftime.
Deshaun Thrower led Muskegon (2-1) with a game-high 32 points,
followed by D'Vonte Dockery's 10 points.
The Big Red trailed by 16 points, 43-27, heading into the
fourth quarter.
"I put this one on me," Muskegon coach Keith Guy
said. "We looked unorganized on both ends, and that's
me. I have to do a better job getting them ready to play.
Chase Fairchild added 14 points for the Rams.
