Rockford makes statement in win over Hudsonville

ROCKFORD 65, HUDSONVILLE 46: The Eagles came into this O-K Red matchup
with the superior win-loss record, but the Rams wasted no time in
making a statement, taking a 20-6 lead at home in the opening stanza.
Rockford (2-1, 4-4) also outscored their guest 21-9 in the third
period to bolster a 27-point lead (56-29).
All-state senior Ryan Majerle scored 22 points, netting all nine
of his free throws. Connor McCane hit for 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting
from the floor, including three triples.
For Hudsonville (2-1, 3-3), BJ VanLoo scored 18 points
and Blake Hibbitts grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds
